→ Continuing the CS224d Course, where I have one assignment and about 8 lectures left. I’m using the 2023 course, which is available for public use on YouTube. Disappointingly, it looks as though the 2024 course is full of fascinating, more up to date material, including some stuff on AIs as agents… for these bits I’ll have to satisfy myself by reading through some of the recommended papers.

→ Continuing to think through the agent-based perspective of AI. AI agents are AIs that can use tools — book restaurants, publish documents etc. I’ve been reading DeepMind’s very useful Open Problems in Cooperative AI, which I’ll be writing up my notes for. The paper considers multiple agent based AIs interacting. I’ve also been thinking about how agent-based AI could work in a context I know really well — web design agencies. Finally, I have a potential post about Neighbourhood Plans and agent based AI in the works.

→ With three posts in the offing — I’m in danger of what I refer to in my own head as ‘beavering’ — working on producing polished, finished idea with no input from the outside world, where inviting incremental feedback would have been better.
